Have you ever considered spoiling yourself with health clothes, made form organic fabrics (bamboo, cotton, soy, or hemp). It is true that fabrics for clothes and other fabric goods are chemically modified. But, how would you feel if sometimes you would buy clothes made form 100% organic fabrics? Some people suggested that their foot problems and other dermatological problems revealed by using these kind of clothes. Organic cotton feels softer because the cotton fibers are left intact and not broken down by the chemicals used in the farming and processing of non-organic cotton.
By living “green” our well being and our children well being is enhanced. I strongly believe that we should support organic growers and manufacturers and back them up. We should respect our Mother Nature and protect her from polluting.
So think about this and try wearing organic clothes. You should see the difference. I just came across an interesting bags made from recycled materials. Would you consider something like that - I am sure you would be proud of your self !
Recently I posted an article about pesticide exposure in cotton and to make easirer decision on wearing organic cotton clothing, take a minute and read it:)
Facts about cotton: there is not one single person that is not using cotton in this world. But, modern textile industry is very competitive and to increase cotton production, they need more cotton and to have more cotton, more pesticides must be used. It is the fact that cotton production uses around 25% of all pesticide use. Now, I wander what residual of pesticides is in my clothes? About ¼ pound in each T-shirt!
